Is there a subject from Lewis County history that you’d like to share with readers? The Lewis County Historical Society invites contributors of articles and photos to its 2025 Historical Society Journal. The annual fall publication features stories and photo essays on a wide range of historical subjects in the county, including notable civic or religious events and incidents, biographical profiles of remarkable persons of distinction, industries that have shaped the county such as transportation, logging and agriculture, and family and personal memoirs which reflect a moment or era in history. We seek stories from communities throughout the county. Articles of varying length up to 5,000 words are welcome.
