Historically Lewis

Home of the Lewis County Historical Society

Without any doubt, one of the Historical Society’s most successful and satisfying events each year is our “Home for the Holidays Festival.” Orchestrated with the help of dozens of volunteers, community members and sponsors, this free, multi-day spectacular kicks off the holiday season at the Temple each year with beautiful Christmas decorations, a magnificent festival of the trees, the mammoth, eye-opening Lionel train display, a ginger bread house display, a night with Santa present to give out gifts, silent auctions of decorated Christmas trees and wreaths, as well as raffles and sales on gift shop items. Routinely attended by hundreds of community members and visitors, it is truly a wonderful way to see the Temple and kick off the holiday season.

The Historical Society is a qualified, tax-exempt charity pursuant to section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
