The time capsule is here and ready to be filled with photos, messages and other ephemera. Especially those with that represent the U.S. 250th anniversary as celebrated in Lewis County.

We have kits here to give out to anyone with a Lewis County connection. Write down your life’s memories, great events, your family’s roots, your current family, life in Lewis County, or anything else you would like memorialized for a future generation to dig up and open 50 years from now.

Our team is busy taking photos of every community in Lewis County to add to this project. But, if you have a unique photo of a Lewis County event, location, thing or people that you believe should be preserved in our time capsule, please share it with us!
