The Lewis County Historical Society develops, maintains and rotates an ongoing series of exhibits that feature collections documenting the personal, social, cultural, artistic, political, religious, military, medical, industrial, and agricultural history of the people who have lived in Lewis County. Our collections include approximately eight thousand objects, including works of the fine arts and art crafts, clothing and household textiles, household objects, ceramics, china and glassware, kitchen utensils, toys and dolls, furniture, objects associated with local industry, musical instruments, tools and farming implements, objects associated with Native Americans, war memorabilia, early photography and post cards, and objects associated with early means of transportation in the county.
