Zwanzigstein Fest
The purpose of the Zwanzigstein Fest is to preserve, celebrate, and accurately portray the religious and cultural heritage of the Mennonite community in Lewis County. Since 1991, the Heritage Farm has provided a site for visitors to learn about the Anabaptist faith legacy and rural life of years past through stories, exhibits, tours, demonstrations, and fundraising venues such as foods and crafts.
ZFest, as it has come to be called, will feature making cider and pottery and a demo on bobbin lacing. Other demonstrations include basket making, chair caning, corn shelling, hayfork, comforter tying, artist, woodworking, barn loom, spinning, sauerkraut, Moser/Moshier story telling, and activities for the children, etc.
There will be a variety of food booths, baked goods, market place, antique booth, and silent auction.
Admission fee this year is on a donation basis.
