Dr. John Gallucci – The Castorland Journal

A must-see special presentation and discussion with Dr. John Gallucci, the translator and editor of “The Castorland Journal.” Come hear about the earliest days of the Castorland Community (1793 – 1797), where French explorers Simon Desjardins and Pierre Pharoux first attempted to establish a settlement for refugees displaced by the French Revolution on land on the east side of Black River that a group of Parisian businessmen had purchased from William Constable.
